Event Details
Online Webinar
26 February 2021

On 26 February 2021, the Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET) will host a free webinar, Claro Writing Helper – Create an essay with the seven-step Claro Writing Helper process.

Claro Writing Helper offers students and teachers a simple means of breaking the essay-writing process down into manageable and easy-to-understand chunks of work. Instead of being overwhelmed, confused, and anxious about a looming deadline and a seemingly impossible word count, the student will be guided through the process in a way that lets them focus on the task at hand. Starting with explicitly looking at the question, and slowly unravelling the essay-writing process one stage at a time at the student’s own pace, the student will export a fully formatted and referenced Word document. This webinar will demonstrate this best-practice process from start to finish, to show the value Writing Helper will add to any student that is overwhelmed by their essays.

This webinar will be of interest to equity and accessibility practitioners. It will also be of particular interest to study skills tutors who support students developing their written communication skills.
