Equity Data

This ​suite of interactive resources provides public access to data on equity group students among Australia’s undergraduate population.

Two data pages allow users to make comparisons between institutions, as well as at the national, state or territory, and institutional grouping level.

The Institutional data page enables users to carry out institutional and comparative searches on Access (commencing enrolments and equity group shares) and Participation (enrolments and equity group shares) data.

The National data page enables the retrieval of the type of data reported in the annual NCSEHE Equity Student Briefing Note. This includes comparisons at the national level, by institution, state or territory, and institutional grouping. It reports on seven indicators: Access (commencing enrolments and share); Participation (enrolments and share); Attrition (rate); Success (rate); and Attainment (share).

All data reported are sourced from the Department of Education, Skills and Employment’s Higher Education Student Data Collection.
