Social justice, inclusive design and RMIT’s Open Educational Practices (OEP) Framework

The Australian Open Textbook project will present a virtual seminar and discussion chaired by Matt Brett (Deakin University and NCSEHE) with Anne Lennox, Associate Director, Library Services (Teaching and Research) (RMIT).

This is a timely discussion as higher education deals with major changes in the wake of COVID-19, including the need for policy adjustments and equity initiatives to address local and international digital divides.

This seminar is part of the ‘Australian Open Textbooks as social justice’ project which is currently interviewing students, academics, librarians and staff from various universities in Australia on the use of textbooks and the potential of adopting OER and diversification of content.
