The 5th Biennial National Association of Enabling Educators of Australia (NAEEA) conference hosted by the University of South Australia (UniSA), will be held at the City West campus in the exciting west end of Adelaide. The 2022 conference will be held in person and provide an opportunity to meet, network, share and explore the future of Enabling Education in Higher Education.

Who should attend?
Anyone interested in Enabling or Higher Education is welcome to attend – the theme of the conference is “Reimagining Enabling in Higher Education” with the following topics being featured:

  • New perspectives:
    focusing on looking ahead at strategy, policy, theory, growth and development of WP/Enabling in Australia
  • Agency & Avenues:
    focusing on the role of the enabling practitioner – including wellbeing, support and development
  • Empowering voices:
    focusing on the diverse perspectives and experiences of students in enabling programs
  • Enabling practice & pedagogy:
    focusing on teaching and curriculum – including theoretical approaches, value-adding, embedded support
  • Advancing digital approaches:
    focusing on innovations and learnings in response to the increase of technology enhanced learning

Interested in presenting at the conference?
Call for Abstracts is now open – due 22nd August 2022

The call for abstracts for presentations is now open. Your abstract should provide a brief (300 words) outline of your presentation, the purpose and intent, and nominate the alignment with one or more of the conference subtopics. NAEEA are seeking abstracts for both showcase (25 minutes including questions) and poster presentations.
