25 September 2018
The NCSEHE sought contributions from stakeholders in preparation of a strategic long-term vision for student equity in Australian higher education.
A core element of the Student Equity 2030 project is a discussion paper, Student Equity 2030, which aims to outline the key concepts, challenges and contradictions associated with achieving student equity in higher education, and point out possible options for resolving them. Eight big questions raised in the discussion paper prompted broad discussion and feedback from the sector.
Roundtable Discussions
Roundtable discussions—with a broad spectrum of participants including students, staff, practitioners, researchers, policymakers and community groups—conducted Australia-wide engaged over 110 stakeholders to further explore these issues in a collaborative and constructive conversational form.
