NCVER Research Forum – Realising our potential: widening participation through education and training

A one-day research forum about the role of education and training in overcoming disadvantage is being held in Melbourne next April, hosted by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER).
NCVER funds research focused on informing issues around the role of tertiary education and training in social inclusion, with a view to building better understanding of how education and training can assist people to achieve their potential.
Social justice campaigner, Dr Jonathon Welch AM, will deliver the opening keynote address, and subsequent presentation topics will include:
- aspirations and student participation
- diversity and equity, and
- labour market outcomes.
NCSEHE Program Leader, Dr Mike Dockery, will also present on the day.
