National Conference for Regional, Rural and Remote Education

The NCSEHE will partner with the Society for the Provision of Education in Rural Australia (SPERA), Country Education Partnership, Barossa Campus, Country University Centre and Equity Practitioners in Higher Education Australasia (EPHEA) for the National Conference for Regional, Rural and Remote Education (NCRRRE) between 21–23 April 2021.
Exploring the future of education provision in regional, rural and remote (RRR) Australia, this conference will share creative initiatives, current best practices in schools and universities, and academic research to improve educational outcomes for RRR communities.
NCRRRE 2021 will bring together teachers, principals, university professional and academic staff, educational leaders, equity and widening participation practitioners, all community owned Regional University Centres and their boards, government departments, policymakers, not-for-profit organisations and anyone interested in RRR education and community development.
Call for Submissions
Submissions to present at this conference are open until 30 November 2020.
Three types of submissions are welcomed:
academic abstracts for presentations of research
case studies from schools, regional university centres, universities and others working in RRR education
posters highlighting exciting initiatives in regional, rural and remote education.
