Magna Charta Observatory & WAHED webinar — Access and Equity: what have we learnt from the pandemic and what should we be doing about it?
23 February 2021
World Access to Higher Education Day (WAHED) is convening a series of virtual events over the course of 2021 before WAHED 2021 on 17 November. These events are FREE and booking are open now.
The new Magna Charta 2020 states that ‘Universities acknowledge that individuals and communities, often due to inequitable circumstances, have difficulty gaining access to higher education or influencing the modes and matter of academic study.’ This webinar reflects on what universities have learnt from the pandemic. It includes examples from the USA and India about actions which have been taken by universities to increase access and equity.
