Event Details

24 June 2021

You are invited:

The National Disability Coordination Officer program is facilitating a short information session with Dr Olivia Groves, Project Manager – National Careers Institute Partnership project 2021-2023: Career Development Learning Hub for students with disability. The information will focus on the surveys being distributed and how we as a sector can ensure the voices of students with disability and other relevant stakeholders are heard.

This discussion would be of interest to career practitioners in both secondary and tertiary education, disability practitioners, NDCO, disability related senior secondary school staff, senior schooling transitions staff, and guidance officers in secondary school.

Background:

A new National Careers Institute (NCI) Partnership Grant project led by Curtin University will establish Australia’s first Career Development Learning (CDL) Hub for students with disability.

Dr Groves will provide a brief overview of the project aims and outputs, and information about how you can support the success of this project with the data currently being collected.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
To facilitate us in our objective to keep this discussion to the time frame of 30 minutes, please feel welcome to submit questions ahead of time as you register for this meeting.
